SPare time iS THE TIME YOU HAVE IN CLASS AFTER ALL OF YOUR CLASSWORK IS DONE.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. CHECK CANVAS FOR YOUR TO DO LIST AND FEEDBACK. DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING THAT YOU NEED TO COMPLETE OR RAISE YOUR GRADE ON. REMEMBER ASSIGNMENTS IN CANVAS ARE NOT IMMEDIATELY TRANSFERRED TO POWERSCHOOL.
2. CHECK POWER SCHOOL. CLICK THE GRADE FOR THIS CLASS TO SEE YOUR ASSIGNMENT GRADES.
3. I encourage you to explore the applications we work with in class: iMovie, Garageband, iPhoto, Photoshop, Word, Excel, and Power Point. DASHBOARD, MESSAGING IN CANVAS AND PHOTOBOOTH ARE NOT SPARE TIME ACTIVITIES!
4. explore the websites below. There are links to great websites that will stimulate your mind!
Remember, anytime you are asked to enter your name, do not use your real name or a name that gives anything personal about you away. Try using your S# .
A FEW REMINDERS:
"Spare Time" is not the same thing as "Free Time". Free time will come occasionally and you will often be told in advance when you will have a free day.

The following sites are great fun for creating comics:
Witty Comics: A great place to create dialogue. Try writing an interview or tell a joke.
Professor Garfield's Comics Lab Created: This is really cool!
Pixton: Create incredible comics. Make sure you sign up for “Pixton for Fun,” not “Pixton for Business,’ watch the “How-to” videos before jumping in (there are a lot of tools), and save often. If you don't you run the risk of spending 30 minutes recreating an elaborate scene, clicking "undo" to remove a tree, and then watching all of your hard work disappear.
